I just got 2 a few days ago, at first they would out and swim around. Start from yesterday, they just stay in one spot between these rocks. is that normal? My clowns and the Valentini Puffer are acting normal as usual though.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Could some other fish like the puffer or clown being bullying them? Even if they are not actively chasing them they can intimidate young smaller fish to the point were the new fish stay hidden.

Sounds like slime if acropora or expelling waste if LPS.

They look small, perhaps in a few days they will not be as shy. At least they have a good hiding place and probably feel more comfortable there. If you can keep the lighting lower for a few days that might help as well.

So today i brought the one that seem kinda sick tang to my usual local shop. They told me it seem fine, it just stressed out nd scared. I got home and noticed my other tang is acting the same way now. I put back the one that it seem sick back to the water, both of them just hide between rocks and lay there for the whole day. I will give it one more day to see whats going on with them. I have a feeling they will be dead tomorrow, they seem like dying to me...this is the first time i bought fish from this shop and I am not very happy from them. I didn't go to my local because they dont have much fish there. I also bought some RO/DI water and salt water from them since I was there already. Today i checked and ammonia was at 10ppm. I never had ammonia in my tank before after i set it up. I need to do my water change tomorrow from where i usually go.

@ hypeber...You've NEVER had an ammonia spike in your tank? If not, than your tank was never properly cycled & if that's the case (because there's livestock), I strongly suggest that you pick up a bottle of "Bio-Spira" or take those animals back to the store til your tank is ready for them.

    1. How long has the tank been up?
    2. It might be stray voltage in the tank, I have had tangs that have acted this way because of voltage
