I noticed about 100 baby snails all over the glass at night on my main tank and linked fuge tank on the side. They mostly hide during the day. Not sure what they are. I have mostly turbo snails have had 4 of 5 for about a year and a half and they are twice as big as when I got them. Got about 15-20 total. They are pure white but too small to make out. Took a really bad pic of them. They are the larger white spots the small white spots are those small spiral worms that grow everywhere.

    Congrats.

    10,30,40 OK, 100's not so.

Is up to you to say at what number your snails become a nuisance.

But when they become so, and they generally will, go after them at night with a small net and scrape off glass.

Crush them in tank and they make great fish food.

A sixline may help keep population in check.

May be using allot of Ca in tank for shells.

    Good Luck!

They are actually not a snail, but known as spirorbid worms! They are completely harmless filter feeders and are REEF SAFE!
If they become a nuisance by blocking the view to your tank, just scrape them off with no detrimental effect to your water quality!

I have had small snail outbreaks before. If the shell is brown and white, they are harmless and will die off once the food source gets reduced.
