What did you paint the back of your tank with. Please dont just say paint have been told paint will just scratch off.I have a primer that sticks to glass but can not be tinted black. So what colors are your tanks? Thanks in advance

Spray paint and regular paint. That is the secret.

i used a can of black spray paint, and then on top of that after it dried, i used 4 cans or black truck bed liner, in the spray can, its sort of ruberized, and does not scratch off if coated properly, spray just a little at a time give it a few hrs to fully dry and repeat

Used standard tremclad paints and a brush on my FW 20's not a mark on the back..

Purposely let is run/sag a lil while applying the paint with the tank upright to add a false depth/texture.

Have also in the past just used standard spray paints.

I used Krylon spray paint. Rustoleum would work too. It works fine but yes it can peel off if you scratch at the back of the tank but how often are you touching the back of your tank. I thought about this color issue and settled with black because IMO it looks better as a background than blue.

I used Krylon too, has been fine, I never thought of window tint though that might be a great idea
