A couple questions before answering your question...Has you tank fully cycled? Did you add all three fish at the same time?
Now, to start off Velvet Damsels are considered one of the most aggressive of the Damsels. Dart/firefish are very timid requiring peaceful non aggressive fish for their success and survival. This being said, I would definitely get rid of the Damsel. Really, if you like Damsels enough to have with non aggressive fish and in a reef environment, I would go with Yellowtails and Chromis', either Blue and/or Green!
To help you out, research the particular fish before choosing. Many fish are not compatible with each other or in a reef tank or with inverts etc.
This is basically my own opinion and for what it is worth, Velvets are a very beautiful Damsel but come with an attitude and a territory problem!

By the way ICDPRIDE, keep in mind that firefish are "jumpers" so make sure the top of your tank is adequately covered.

You're going to have a heck of a time removing the damsel.....they're quicker than lightning.

Keep us posted on your success.

    Good luck :)
