    Bama's 300 Gallon Thread

Well I have finally dove into my project reef tank. Its 30 gallons, I would have gone bigger but I live in an apartment and dont really know the structural integrity of the place so I didnt want to push my limits.

Here is what I have accomplished so far...
This is the plumbing work for the back of my tank..
Two 3/4" returns drilled with Line-Loc Flare fittings.
    700 gph Glass-Holes.com return with 1" spa-flex pipe.
10 gallon sump, with mag 9.5 return pump running full open surprisingly enough.
45 lbs Base Rock is on its way to me shortly along with my refugium which I am putting together this weekend.

    On the To Do List:
    Skimmer: Octopus NW-110
Lights: Current USA Sundial T5 4x39 watt
    Phosphate Reactor
Lots of Corals and a few good fish...

More to come... Thanks for looking...

well its been a while, but I have come quite a long way since my last post here..

I now have a refugium, a coralife aqualight t5, coralife 65 super skimmer, phosphate and carbon reactor, chaeto, koralia 1(getting one more soon), lots and lots of snails, a chocolate chip star, false perc, featherduster, and 40 lbs of florida base rock on its way to me soon.
Also this week I am buying a aquaticlife 36" T5 HO 4x39w with lunar.
So far all is well with the tank and I couldnt be happier.
I just cant wait to get my light so I can start getting corals as my mg, cal, and other params are all in order to go!

    Thanks!
kind of.. there is one glass divider in between the small gravity feed and the skimmer section.. you cant really see it because it is at a slant in the left rear corner..
