Ok, anthias are gone.. to catch them I had to take every rock out.. Not a fun day to say the least..

So I aquascaped a bit to give me a sloping reef and a large sand bed on one side..
    Enjoy

    I love your scaping!

what type of clay is in the kitty litter you used (Bentonite, Attapulgite or Montmorillonite)? or does it not matter? have you noticed any ill effects and do other people run fuges with kitty litter in a reef setup or are you a pioneer?

    thanks,
    eplives

The clay was not specified in the kitty litter package. It was a darker clay, so I dont think it was bentonite. I have never heard anything but positive results from kitty litter in the fuge.. I wish I were the first, that would be cool..

Just be sure to get the cheapest, all natural, non scented kitty litter. Most of the packages will say all natural on them.

    Good luck my friend..

thanks! i ran this by some people in another forum and they were quite skeptical. I thank that;s fair on their part but since you are getting such good results i will look deeper and probably give it a go.
