    here is the new fan setup. I also added the hinges on both sides to keep the hood open by itself when I need to work on the tank. Works well so far.

    Full shot of the top. It is going to give me great flow through my hood and is meant to expel the heat from my lights as it will sit right above the exhaust on the light fixture.

    It is working like a freaking charm.. Not to mention I sold an older tank setup today for $50 so now I can go get something at the LFS tomorrow.

    Just wondering, Bama..but how much do you think it will cost for all your equipment just to get the tank running(skimmer, return pump, reactor, lighting, salt, sand, etc, excluding the cabinet)? - I'm looking at around $1,000 for a 55g. :/
