Just thought I would post some pics now that I have fought off my gha and cyano outbreak.

Yeah, I know it got pretty bad. It just kind of exploded all of a sudden. Things are definitely better now. Let me know what you guys think.

Looks good, what did you do to accomplish the victory over cyano?

Just took the advice of everyone on 3reef. Frequent water changes, drastically cut back on the lights, and found a source of RO water (I think this was the biggest thing). I also used a fish net and algae scrapper to do some manual removing.

How do you know if your source is a good one I go to a water store in town but don't know if they are a good sorce what could I do to make sure. Test the phosphates? They seem low enough. I have a RO system at home but it is super slow came with my rental house it does just enough to do about 10 12oz water bottles or at least that is how many I can get out of it before it has to recycle and build up its water supply.

Yeah, test for phosphates and test it with a TDS meter. I also check to see how ofter it's serviced. Some RO systems run slow and only filter a few gallons per day, so maybe that's what you have.

Thanks! I was thinking about getting a couple more pieces of rock, what do you think? I like the look of extensive aquascaping.
