I talked to coloradoreef and he is going to check his suppliers lists to see if they have any. not sure if he wants to try shipping yet, but you could pm him. his store is not open yet but he wants to try diff venders so in a way I will be helping him out also. next time I talk to him I will ask if he is interested in shipping for you if you would like.

Oh, that's okay. Thanks a lot for the offer, though! I can PM him when I'm ready. Hopefully his store will be up an running by that time. I still have to get water in my tank, cycle it and then wait a bit before adding angels.

Thanks, though. I hope you get yours and everything works out great!! I'll be waiting for pictures...:)

here is a good article I found on this genus. it appears they are a deep water fish and it takes a while to acclimate to the bright lighting of the reef tank. Also after reading this, I think it would be safe to buy 2 females as 1 would likely turn into a male. That would be cool to watch. The article also says that for a pair, they would be OK in a 4 foot aquarium, but 6 foot would be ideal. Swallowing One Victim at a Time: The Genus Genicanthus by Henry C. Schultz III - ReefKeeping.com

PS. I hope I'm not breaking any rules by posting this link.

The Wantanabeis are gorgeous as well, but I like more colors than black and white. But their markings are striking!! Uh-oh, I need to stop flip flopping! Lol

It sounds like I should get them by next week. putting in order in a day or two. they only have females so I will get two of those and hope 1 changes. Only thing that could complicate things is if they only have one in stock, then I will not order it as I don't want to add only 1 making it difficult to add 1 later.
