    Quick question!

Which is better: Coralife Super Skimmer OR Berlin Turbo Classic?

Might seem like a dumb question, but I just want a single definite answer. ;D

I have not used the Berlin but I have the Coralife, and do not know that I would buy it again. The main problem I have had is that everything will seem to be adjust fine and I am getting good results then a few hours later my overflow bucket will be overflowing with water and I have a mess to clean up. I have read of similar issues and people have suggested changing the depth of the pump but that has not seemed to help.

Would the Coralife still make a mess if its in a sump?

Mine hangs over the side of the sump with the overflow going to a container on the side. If it was in the sump true it should overflow into the sump I had trouble getting mine level with it in the sump so I opted for the outside.
I know several other people on this board use the Coralife as well hopefully they are having better experience that they can share then I am and my troubles are from improper setup or something.

It wont make a mess in the floor, but will in your sump. If it overflows the skimmate, you dont want that stuff in your sump now do you? :p

    That is true rickzter! :p

Aqua C is DAMN expensive. Trying to minimize costs while maintaining performance. Wish I was rich... lol

BTW, NUGIO are you by any chance a GDC member? Noticed the GSXR750K5 in your avatar. ;D

Check Ebay for remora skimmers, you can usually find them at a good price.
The CPR bak pak skimmer would also work for a 35g tank and are less money than the remora. Pro pak skimmer is a cheaper clone of the CPR and can be found at www.aquatraders.com or on ebay. Good luck!

If you have the room in the sump go with ASM, but read up on them first. Get The Berlin only if you want to spend your life sitting by your sump wondering why it was just skimming a minute ago, now it's not, and of course an hour from now it will be overflowing.
