So my brain has been slowly dieing on me. I thought it was me. Soooo I droped him down to the bottom of the tank and in the proses turned it. Well tonight after lights out i was looking at it with my light and saw it.... or them i should say. I'm guessing flatwarm but i realy don't know. but anyways i pulled it out and did surgery on it.. not realy but i don't have any dip and its going to take 4days to get here. but anyways thare was also some what i'm guessing egg sakes growing on the out side of the brain. soo what i did was took them off and pissed off what ever it was in my brain coral. i'll post pics of the coral and the things i took off of it. But any ways they are light sensative, have a hard white door way, and look like a tube from what i can tell. If any one has any idea... the pic shows the door closed and thare are from what i can tell 3of them. thanks for any ideas or help.

I am sorry, my eye's aren't what they use to be - I can't see anything. Flatworm would not have a hard shell or a tube. How long has the brain been in your tank? acclimation to tank lighting is tricky. You mentioned, flat worm, tube, hard door and egg sack -- tube worms would be harmless to the brain, as would flat worms, egg sack? I guess I need a closer picture and maybe an arrow telling me what to look at.

i would get some coral rx and dip it than anything on it will fall off into the dip water and you can see what your up against. and it will also give the coral a chance.

The black rings outline the warm looking things. They are also digging into the soft part of the brain to. the red are the egg sacks that i pulled off of it. Hope this helps.

It sounds like the parasitic worms that live in the skeletons of brains. Unique Corals did an article on scolys in CORAL magazine. I tried googling for the info but couldn't find it. I would shoot them an email or call them.

i would do a CoralRX dip.

If it is bad you can dip it more than once! I believe it says on the bottle just don't remember exactly. So I would recommend that as it looks bad IMO

+1 on the dip suggestion. Try give the coral a bath with an Iodine solution like TM Pro Coral Cure or similar product. I dip every piece of new coral before introducing into my tank...I am really paranoid about unwanted hitchikers.
