For those using pellets, any tips maintaining the reactor they're in? Or do I just leave it alone?

I've got tons of pineapple sponges and fan worms growing on the cylinder walls. As well as a decent pod population. But their's also other debris...I imagine food and detritus related since I don't turn it off to feed.

i do them every other week or so. i have tons of pods in there and a handfull of feather dusters, i dont worry about them so much as long as they arent clogging it up.i just tank the canister off (bulk reef reactor) and fill and dump water from the water change to get the loose stuff out.
