Birds Nest pc lighting

For those who have grown birds nest under PC's and did fine, how much lighting did you use (watts per/gal)? obviously its better to place them up high...

I don't know about growing..but i kept one alive under pc's..i had 135 watts over my 36 gallon..it was about 4 inches under the surface..Now that i have halides though it is starting to show growth

 

Same here. I kept mine alive until I got VHOs.

 

So that the conclusion then... Stay alive no growth?

mine actually is growing but way slower then it would under mh

but.. im getting a 70w metal halide pendant soon so it will grow a lot better under that.

 

if your going to use pc's you need to have enough light so that there is 3 or more watts per gallen, and you want to place it way up under the light as high as you can
