black clown?

my friend called and said she was on the way here with the blue legged hermits i wanted and she got me a black clown fish. is that gonna get along with my yt damsel? i dont want any ufc goin on in my tank lol

 

The clown has a high chance of recieving some bullying with a dominate damsel already present within that system.

If you start to see some aggression, try re-arranging the rock scape to re-establish terrorities, and leaving the lights off intially to allow the clown some time to acclimate in peace.

 

Should be fine, just leave the lights off for a couple hours

 

k good the clown is considerably larger than the yt but the yt has been in the tank since it cycled

 

My YT is buddies with all of my fish large or small, and he was even the first fish in the tank. I bet you will be ok after a day or two of 'getting to know you' time

 

yea the clown is chasing the yt all over right now lol

 

Very cool ;D You gotta respect a fish that backs down a YTD.

Hopefully they will figure out who is boss.

 

yea it would be nice if they both coinside with one another lol 5 bucks for the yt as opposed to 50 for the clown lol yt goes back to petco

 

im gonna take a few pics of the tank with the new fish even though i have a bad RHA issue right now lol
