From what I've read, everyone so far has been right on. It is a type of worm that will reproduce in your aquarium. The best thing to do is to either freshwater dip it and/or treat with formalin. The worm lives in your substrate and as long as you have fish in there, there is a possibility for it to reoccur. I don't think it's life threatening to the fish, in general, but you should treat it, I would not just sit around and let it keep going. You can make a fish trap if you want to catch it, or find where it sleeps and catch it then.

Thanks everyone...i finally got it to go in a trap yesterday and freshwater dipped it for 5 min... It doesnt look any better today...wonderin if I should do it again today or tomorrow...maybe add some formalin to it too...i just hate stressin the poor fish more than I have to..and i know chances of her goin into the trap again are slim and none..lol..and dont wanna starve her to go into the trap because she is fighting like a champ....:::SIGH::: I wish I could find a reef safe cure for both ichs in a aquarium forever..I would be rich..
