black looking alge

    hi
    i have black looking alge on my sand,kinda looks like mold, tank is 90gal and about 4 months old
    please help, seem like my nitrates is a little high,dont know how to get it down

    probably cyano bacteria,search the algea threads to id it or post a pic,manual removal along with less feeding,water changes with ro/di water and increased flow usually help.
