I have what i assume to be black sponge growing. Its soft and grows fast. Its finger shaped and grows upwards with multiple arms. It starts out white then starts turning black. some of it is all black.. It dosnt appear to be bothering anything. Just wondering if i should remove it. "witch i have and it grew back" or is it not hurting anyhting..

I no sponges make good natural water filters....Is this one good or bad.

Cant hurt. Sponges can be interesting tank mates. If it dies for some reason though it will trash your tank fast.
