:( well it appears i lost another fish today. my blenny was doing so well i dont understand. he was eating well and always very active. i have lost 2 chromis and now my blenny so im wondering if since i bought them all from the same place if this might be the problem. my parameters seem to be fine dkh 9, phos 0.0, nitrates 0, ammonia 0, cal 460, sg 1.025, ph 8.2. is there anything else that i need to test? my tank is 115g. i was worried about the tank being too new and not having enough algea for the blenny but he was always eating. i just dont get it. i also messed up and forgot to take a pic of him to get my money back. so that just added to my crappy day that ive had already. when it rains it pours. can anyone help me with what has been going on with my fish? i have been trying to make sure i do everything correctly. my old tank i had i never lost but maybe 3 fish in the 10 years i had it and i used untreated tap water then and never did water changes or anything when i should have. how is it that?

    thanks chad

What type of water are you using now? And unless I miss something how long has the 115 been running?

how would i get a disease in my water? or would it be brought in from those fish? my test kit is the seachem ammonia and the api reef kit and a martini ph meter and a sybon refractometer. which other brand should i try?

A fish can carry a disease and you wouldn't know until later. its just part of the hobby. Don't beat yourself down for it.

yeah,i'm just trying to make sure its not something i'm doing wrong but it is frustrating though, so i have to make sure i dont get discouraged with it. i have 2 o.clowns that i bought the other day from the lfs this time. is there anything i might need to watch for with them?
