Bloke, I really like the last aquscape. I'm all about keeping it natural looking, but also a unique aquascape. Maybe you could differentiate the two islands on the right some how...but I love the height they both add. How often do you see full arches In the ocean?

PVC is almost necessary for large stacking but I've always wondered how it fairs to saltwater. I've installed my fair share of sprinkler systems and drainage plumbing with PVC before but never using anything as corrosive as salt water. Will it not eventually erode away leaving small particles of whatever the plastic is made up running free in your system being absorbed by the rock and other living organisms???

    Pvc is inert in saltwater.
It's been used for years with no effects on coral or inhabitants.

I believe I am going to run Par38 LED spotlights instead of running the 3x400w MH I had previously planned for. It seems like a smarter move to go this route to begin with than be forced the change in the future.

Browsing threads from the lighting forum, I found this light rack and display that looks amazing IMO.

I like the darker/deeper look to the water as well as the spotlight effect. I think it is far better than the typical light-box seen so often.

They are 7 LED Par38 bulbs. You can check out Rapid LED's website or check out their sponsor forum here on this board.

Wow they have some awesome lighting kits for pretty fair prices. The Par38 bulbs are amazing - especially with a lighting controller. I might purchase one of these actinic supplement sets just to make my colors pop and add some beauty to my tank at night
