NICE! Where did you get your track lighting and fixtures? How long is the fixture/light from the top of the track lighting to the bottom of the bulb?

I finally got the system completely plumbed. I ran a "T" into an existing 2" drain line to easily dispose of waste water when changing out tank water. I simply open the valve and pump the desired amount of water into the drain.

With everything plumbed and tank parameters stable, it's time to start the cycle!

Well, I haven't installed any lighting yet. The light you see over the tank is just a 60w bulb hanging in the fish room.

I am, however, positive that I am going with PAR38 LED's though. The bulbs put out less heat, less power consumption, last almost 15yrs, less nuisance algae, and give me a different look instead of a lit box of water.

I'm excited to see this thing in a few months. :D

    Looks good.
I like your idea with the par38s. I just put 4 on my 65g and have one more to add. The look is very different from traditional but I love it.

Thanks! I looked over your thread and noticed your FTS. What is the difference between post #128 and #129? It's kind of wierd - the clowns look different; in one it looks like a B/W Ocellaris and in the other it looks like a True Percula, while the Sailfin is in the exact same position!! Either way, I like the FTS in #128; it looks a little darker than #129 (including the substrate), which IMO, is a little brighter than I want.

Also, how far are the bulbs from the water surface?

On a different note, Verlander is a beast, but what are #DET's chances against the powerhouses of the AL East? #DET has a losing record against the AL East and Aaron Boone (BBTN) was suggesting that they (#DET) were the team to beat in the AL. ...Sorry, YANKEES fan here. :D

The first pic is how it really looks. The second pic the exposure made it look like the sun for some reason lol
I have a b&w and a Picasso clown so it was prob just the other clown or something. Sailfin was munching on his algae sheet. That's his feeding corner lol. Right now I have them about a foot off the water but I have adjustable hangers so I can raise them if its bleaching stuff.

Ohhhhh boy a yankees fan lol just wait and see my friend. Haha my teams gunna lock it down!!!
