Thanks John, are you referring to the exposed concrete within the fish room walls and floor or are you talking about the concrete mortar?

The line from the central air is directly next to where the MH will sit. I can also install some fans above the MH pulling in cooler air. Also, because this is in the basement, the area is naturally cooler. Therefore, I can close of, or restrict, many of the a/c lines running throughout the basement thereby forcing more air into the fish room with the line wide open. Thoughts?

You're right about easier now than later! Thanks for the heads up!

Yeah it's bad to buy a house that fits your tank(s) instead of buying one that fits you. I just bought a house that fits both...but its main selling point was the room that will become the fish room.

The room in general, but you'll want to use a clear sealer on the brick and mortar. Mortar and brick are not as strong as concrete as it is. Cool on the A/C access.

For $10 at Lowe's, perhaps this is a little piece of mind. Half-inch insulation that will easily fit between the brick and the tank. I won't be able to slide it out, but I can cut it out after the mortar cures and sleep more easily knowing that the masons are not pushing and pulling mortar and brick back and forth across the tank glass. :)

Building the temporary support structure for the arch. On schedule to be completed by midafternoon.
