Got my cycle started. Salt mixed, heated up, powerhead going, and added a dead shrimp. Can't get the fan on my lights to work.. .I hope it's just the fans themselves... Don't really want to do any wiring. Anyone know here use a simple computer fan on their Oddyssea lights?

Wow , thanks, I had to do a little wood work on it to make it shorter , and ad windows to the sides. So far I really like it. If you have some basic woodshop tools it wouldn't be hard to make.

The sand appears deep in the photo... I just haven't spread it out yet.

    Thanks for the compliments guys.

I have an Odyssea 2X 175W DE Metal Halide. 2X 96w Purple/blue actinics. Not really enough wattage for when the reef really gets going. i'll probably upgrade the lights in a few months, but that came with the system from the guy I got it from. I think he was fish only.
