Bought a Chevron Tang

I went to my LFS today because he was having an end of year sale...he sold me a medium size Chevron Tang for $40. I am SOOOO excited, my sailfin doesnt appear to be bothering him either, so that is QUITE amazing, cuz he hates EVERYONE!...lol Will post some pics when he isnt so shy!

 

Great addition. My chevron tang was one of the fish my purple sailfin didnt care about when added. Great fish. Cant wait to see pics!

 

he has actually decided to come out and start grazing and being a character hopfully this is a good sign of a successful transition..here the new addition is!

 

My 1st chevron I had had issues eating, and was very emaciated. Ordered it online and got a bad one. It was very shy and timid. after it passed ordered another one from a different site, It was shy till a few hours into acclimation then very bold. Still have the little guy Started out at 1".. and now is 3!

 

Awesome! I was really shocked that my sailfin didnt really mind him coming in...he killed a regal tang i tried to add a few months ago, thats why i was suspect of trying the chevron, but for the price and those colors.. i couldnt pass him up

 

I love chevrons i had one died from ich but very active always out swimming you will love it and he has some awsome colorations!

 

Great pics of him hes such a beauty! I wish mine got a little more towards the adult coloring. Mine is still got the bright juvie coloring. How big is your chevron, Looks like its around 3+ inches

 

yeh i'd say about 3"to 3.5"...

 

Wow, he's beautiful!!! Nice pick up - and great price. I hope your sailfin continues to accept him.
