    Good morning everyone,

Question from the first time reefer:

Based on my readings on the uselessness of buying live rock, I will be stocking up my tank with base rock only and waiting out the cycle. My LFS does not carry base rock however they can order it in for me. Obviously, I'm stuck with whatever is in that box... Has anyone purchased a box of base rock before? It's labelled "Reef Rock" and the pictures look really porous, etc. Just not sure on size, etc.

I would love to hear your experiences.

    Regards,

    Pac

    How much does it cost?

I would just order it from reef cleaners

The pricing is relatively cheap (ie $2.50 lbs). Guys, note that I'm in Canada and many of the sponsors here do not ship to my location.
