Is anyone planning a little trip to your friendly LFS just to see what's happening on Boxing day?

I wasn't planning on going but then again it couldn't hurt just to have a look.

    ;)

sssnake could you explain the signifigance of "Boxing Day" to all us non Canadians please! Down south it's the day after Christmas madness when all the malls are cramed with people exchanging gifts they didn't like, cashing in gift cards, catching after Christmas specials etc.- but I may brave it anyway if my kids want to go !

That's exactly what it is bouraganes! :)

In Canada we call it Boxing Day. Depending on where you decide to shop for specials it can be either pleasant or a living hell.

I thought that Boxing Day was when employers and employees switched roles for the day?

I think that's "Boxers Day" ......gloves and all. :whip:

Anyway, I'm taking advantage of this "boxing/boxers" week ;) by picking up a couple of things. So far, a couple of powerheads, 28" tongs (not thongs) for moving things around while keeping my hands out of the tank, a coral, and some filter stuff.

I'm back there today just to "look around" $$$$$. There are some good deals but man does it add up
