My brain has been closed for 24hrs, this isint normal, its always open ammonia/nitrite/nitrate are all 0, other corals are all open and healthy.

Only thing that has changed was that two days ao i did a full cleaning of my skimmer, cleaned the pumps and all that jazz and my skimmer has not been skimming at all

Your skimmer hasn't been skimming because it needs to break in again. How did you clean everything?

Honestly, your brain doesn't look closed to me. Yes, it doesn't look fully opened, but it has h20 in it. I woulnd't worry about it and STOP TINKERING!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Normal. Mine will do this every now and then when nothing is changed. Scary at first but he probably exchanged Zooxanthellae and is just recovering.

i just put it in the tub and rinsed everything down, used brushes through the pumps to take out all the gunk and crap then filled the skimmer up with ro/di freshwater and plugged it in

and really? this isint it closed? when the lights go off at night it shrinks to this but has yet to become puffed up again

I have 4 open brains, they go through small phases like this. No big deal it will puff up in the next day or two.

I think it looks just like normal color wise. So its a little smaller than usual...doesn't mean its ugly :)
