Nope but the flesh is getting a little thin. How often do you target feed?

After the lights go off, put a tiny bit of meaty food into the tank to stimulate the food response. Wait an hour and there should be some feeder tentacles out by then.

yes, but so will time. It took several days when mine was new b4 it started puffing up...

I feed mine once a month or so.

Also, mine was doing terrible and turned out I had a blenny pecking at it... got rid of the blenny and the brain opened up nice and full again... just FYI

I have the same brain coral. How do you guys target feed? Each time I try the fish in the tank immediately take the food away (very frustrating). I am sure it is getting something because it looks great but I have yet to see it actually allowed to keep any of the food! I have had the Coral since Oct 09.

I have the best luck by feeding the rest of the tank on the opposite side from my brain first. If this is not possible just feed they first and while they are eating feed the brain.

I also feed my brains using pieces of shrimp or fresh fish from the store. I make it big enough so that a fish might not grab it. I also do not let go of it till the brain has a good hold on it, that way the fish can try but most of the time they haven't a chance.

And Peredhil, Once a month! mine gets feed once a week and sometimes twice. Thats why mine have doubled in size in the last year I am sure.
