i was looking into hatching my own brine shrimp, but my question is is it worth it, they are so much smaller then what i buy in my LFS. I afraid that the current in my tank will be to strong for the nrely hatch shrimp. any advice on this. thanks

Personally, I didn't find any benefit in hatching them. If you do decide to try it, I'd recommend you use a separate tank or container with just an airstone for aeration/circulation.

I thought it was a pain to do... Totally not worth the time and effort. If you have baby fish or new ones that are not eating it may be worth it.

Hatching them is easy. Growing them in any meaningful densities can be difficult and take many occasions until one gets the "hang" of it.
It's a lot easier to buy at an LFS or order from livebrineshrimp.com.
I can't get them here where I live in Canada so I grow them.

I just buy them once in awhile at the LFS since it's a pain to hatch them to a good size. When they only cost like $2 for tons of them it's easier I guess 8)
