Something is on a piece of my live rock..??
I couldn't get a good picture of it, will try again tomorrow..
It's not sticking flat on the rock. Parts seems stuck to the rock, And the rest sticks out some.
It's about 1 inch long ... 1/2 inch wide at the bottom and tapers back to a point at the top. almost the shape of a piece of pie.. Sort of....
You can almost see thru it..

My tank is about 5 weeks old.. I have not, nor do I have any Algae problems.. I did have a light dusting of brown algae in spots..
My snail took care of that.. I don't run my white lights alot. but I do keep my blue lights on in the daytime..
My tank is 55 gal, lights total 260 watts.. My Nitrate is between 10 and 0..
I have to get the rest of the test kits to check the others.. $$$"s tight..!!!
This is a piece of live rock I bought from my LFS ..
    Here's a bad picture..

Looks almost like a piece of leaf, but can almost see thru it..
    It doesn't move.. LOL..
The live rock was real good, with alot of purple, etc..
It also have some mini feather dusters. but they OK..

    Thanks for any info. Larry

And sorry for such a bad pix..
There's no way it could be a piece of leather coral starting, is there..??
    Or just strange brown algae..

Yeah, get us a better pic. Some of the more experienced aquarists will have a shot at it. The mini-feather dusters may be aiptasia anenomes. They are a pest anenome. Look them up on the forums here for more information. If you already know about them, great. If not, explore the forums and learn about 'em. Later.......John.
