brown polyp patch

    Hi, I have a strange patch of brown polyps next to my monticap. Yes I know I have a lot of GHA, in a current battle with it. I do not think it is part of the monticap mainly because the stalks are so long.

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    Looks like it could be Stag Horn sps, or Porities. I am leaning towards Stag Horn, similar to this variety.

    you talking about the small patch to the lower left? If you touch them do they instantly retract and look like soft tubes?
    I am thinking Colonial hydroids.
