Boost Mg to 1600 to 2000 for a couple of weeks. Emerald crabs will eat it also.

I second boosting the Mag, works like a charm on (most species) of bryopsis. Just be careful to avoid raising the Mag to quickly, something like 50ppm per day is safe. And you will use alot of Mag if you have a decent size tank.

Third the mag. Just make sure you get the right stuff as not all of it works I have heard. It worked for me with a combo of vodka, manual removal, and big fuge

You can raise Mg 100ppm per day. Use Kent Tech M seems to be the most effective. Watch your SG that much Mg will cause it to rise.

I actually just went through a battle with bryo myself. As stated above, use the Kent Tech M magnesium. From what I've read, it's not the magnesium, but rather something else in the tech m that does it.. So make sure you use the tech M. I raised mine 100ppm a day, sometimes more on accident haha. No ill effects whatsoever on any fish, inverts, or corals. There were a few rocks I had that were really bad, and I would squirt the Tech M directly onto the rock. Within a few weeks, it was gone! Good luck.

Skim wet to get the dead algae out so it is not available for food.

Boost mag, but the only stuff that really works is Kent Tech M. I've tried with other mag supplements, but it just doesn't work.

i boosted mg with another kind of mg and had no affect. I have read that the tech m is the way to go, I always skim wet so thats not gona be an issue. So now im off to buy some tech m !

I'm going shock & awe against my bryopsis. Raised mag by Kent M up to 2100 3 days ago, ordered a batch of scarlett & blue leg hermits, 2 emerald crabs, 3 lettuce nudis. If this doesn't work anyone try pulling the rocks and deep freezing for a few days ?
