Have any of you guys ever had this problem? I have a BTA, it is doing great, will be better when my MH arrives. but the wired thing is he won't attach and the biggest clown seems to always flip him over. I always have to take the dowel and flip him over again. why does the clown insist on flipping him over? the bigger clown is very territorially too, ever time the hermit crab comes out to feed the clown starts attacking it when he gets to close to his anemone, pretty funny to watch. just wish the clown would stop flipping the BTA over.

Get him out of your tank asap. If its not attaching, then its mostly likely near death. If it dies, it will wipe out just about everything in your tank. This is what happened to my seabae anemone just before it died and started me over from scratch.

i should be getting my 150w MH today and the 65watt corallife will hit the trash, tank has been up for a year or little more, did a major clean a few months ago. the bta has been free floating since I got it, its not near death because it is fully opened and when its feeding time it puffs up, the clowns sleep in it every night.

Any healthy anemone should foot onto something. Otherwise, in the wild, the current would blow them half way across the sea.

Still be careful, mine never shriveled or stopped puffin till the day it died, just wouldn't foot. I'm still sticking to my guns and say get it out of there asap. Its not worth it dude, if it dies in there, you will be starting all over from day one. The current lights you have are surely not helping as well. How long have you had it? What kind of flow area is it in?

I am going to say 4 weeks. it is on the sand bed in the middle of the tank. I have two power heads one on each end of the tank. when I left the house this morning it was in a different spot and was laying flat on the sand bed, maybe it dug its way in. I hate to throw a way a animal that is still a live, I have been watching it closely and it never turns into a ball.
