Ive had my BTA for 3 days now and he always seems to tuck himself in a spot of low light. Is this normal? Or do these avoid high flow?

they'll hide if there is anything wrong with the water quality, etc, or they'll shrivel up and look quite weak. Hard to tell from the picture, but it doesnt look like it has much color-which directly relates to the zooxanthellae. Tank looks pretty new, judging by the look of the rock and the lack of corraline- or the pristineness of the sand. Are you sure all your water parameters are in check and staying at a consistent level?

How old is the tank? Anemones need a very mature tank to have a chance at survival. They require extremely stable levels: pH, alk, O2, etc. and extremely clean water: NO NH3, NO2 or NO3.
