ok cuz my clown looks lonely (he keeps swimming with his reflection) so i thought either he wants to be with another clown or wants an anemone. hes a fairly recent addition so maybe hes just aclimating?

Fish are so funny like that. I think its sometimes us that thinkthey are lonely. I have a blood parrot cichlid in a 29 alone. Sometimes I think he is lonely, sometimes I think he is just fine.

is that a predatory fish? clowns are really social fish though.... but idk...no anemone, would adding another clown be too much bioload for an 8 gal? they only 1.25 inches long
