I have some bubble algae starting to grow on a rock. Should I leach it?

GENTLY rock larger bubbles back and forth or spin them to snap the holdfast. Then toss away. Smaller bubbles are harder to remove this way but Emerald crabs usually do a good job.

I've been fortunate so far with emerald crabs. I get the smaller ones and so far, I haven't had any develop an "appetite" for my corals. I also remove the bubble algae manually, like Inwall recommended, at water change time. We had a lot of it at one time, but now it's just here and there.
