    any LFS

the trick is to wait until after the fish go to sleep and don't use very much light or you'll just wake them up.

my clowns drive me nuts with that.

    I second that idea;)
I've never fed my corals food like this and I would like to start. Some photos or a video of it being done will be a great help for everyone interested.
I got a small bubble about a week ago and I'd like to see it grow;D

    hm, we'll see.

it's as simple as cut silver side appropriately. Let thaw. Use long tweezers and put meat in coral tentacles that come out at night. Start with small pieces until you get to know how big the coral will take. Most will take a chunk the size of a penny or nickel.

sit back and watch the amazing thing that happens next. it's the reason I prefer LPS over SPS any day of the week.

Speaking of long tweezers - what brand are they / where did you get them?
I need to invest in some. I saw something called a "SeaSquirt" on some of the sites (long syringe with a skewer on the end) - but it would be good to hear about what some of you experienced coral feeders use.

I cant say i have seen long tweezers though. I would appreciate a nudge in the right direction so i can invest wisely and not get something that might accidentally harm a coral.

I hope this is not threadjacking or anything, this topic caught my attention since I will start getting corals soon (my light arrives this week) and couldnt be more excited :)

    thanks in advance

so the slices are pretty small? how do you cut the with out making a huge mess and destroying it before you give it to the coral? and if you dont use an entire piece of fish, are you able to freeze it again or do you have to toss it out

I have one of those sea squirt things w/the spine on the end. stretches to like 30 something inches too. it has its uses.

I have access to a lab and was able to procure a pair of some weird non corrosive alloy tweezers that are like 18 inches long... I wouldn't know where to find them...

    be warned, regular metal rusts...

I cut the fish while it is still frozen. No mess.

I can not envision a scenario where I wouldn't go ahead and just cut it in such a way that I would use a whole fish... but any extra I throw in for some good ol' CuC war. (moderation folks)

but since i'm cutting while still frozen... I wouldn't exactly be 'refreezing'... but I usually try to cut extra bc a crab or something will inevitably steal something...

I plan to feed every head but reality is they don't all end up with their meal.

Every head! theres not like a main mouth that you put the food in, my bubble has a ton of heads and a ton of feeding tenticles i cant even imagine how long it would take to feed every one, i have yet to see my brains feeding tenticles come out, its deflated most of the time, but when i woke up this morning it was inflated
