What else do you think you could do? lol. Yes, they are kind of a lot...but you could always use them for storing RO and SW once the tank is set up.

thats the thing.. i would have to buy 2.. just to have 100G... thats 100 bucks im not willing to spend.

i thought there could be some type of container that isnt that expensive..
i cant seem to see why these are so expensive.

i would never need to store that much water...

Not sure what change you're getting ready for (missed a thread somewhere I guess), and why you need 110 gallons worth of containers, so can't really come up with any solutions for you...

You can get smaller volume ones Wes. Do they gotta be 55g's? I get by on 1-32g & 1-45g. The dolly is what costs $$. Make sure they're Rubbermaid....indestructable.

At lowes 5g buckets are $2.78. I prefer to do this because then you can compartmentalize, separate and organize your live stock rocks etc...

For 110 gallons, you'd need 22, but that would only ba bout $62 + tax. It is an absurd amount of buckets, but it will make the move go smoother IME. You can keep a few for other tank work and donate the rest to fellow reefers I guess...

Well first of all how much water do you plan on putting in each container and who do you think is going to move it for you. If not far you could buy three normal trash can like 9 dollars each and a few 5 gallon because water is heavy and moves a lot in motion. Buy a flat dolly from harbor freight and away you go. These are all things you can use later in life.

The Rubbermaid trough style containers are about$50-$60 for 100 gallons. I use one for waterchanges and lend it out to other reefers for tank moves. Anyone in your area that you could borrow one from?
