button polyp or aptasia

    I can not say for sure so hopefully others chime in but it looks like some sort of paly, it does not look like aiptasia to me. If it was a pest anemone I would lean mroe torwards a majano anemone but it my vote is for some kind of paly

    definitely not aiptasia in my opinion. I am leaning toward paly or zoa

    I am leaning toward majano or another type pest anemone.

    Is there a way you can get a picture of the stem. I usually can tell by the stem.

    That doesn't look like any aptasia I've seen.

    looks like some sort of colonial anemone to me.

    +1 on not being aptasia, I would poke one, if it scrambles in to a hole instead of closing up, then I would say majano, If not probably paly or zoa. I guess :/
