Whoa whoa whoa, My fellow canucks I feel awful you had this experience. I just dumped out my swc bio pellets. I found them to be not that great. The dosage of them was about 1/3 of most other companies i have since read about so makes me wonder why theirs was so different. Here in Toronto its like a mecca of LFS. dont want to rub anything in. But maybe i can help you get some better hookups.
    look at canreef
    and aquariumpros
these two forums are based out of Canada and all their sponsors deal with obviously Canada. So lots of selection for shipping.
This one store by me Reef Raft. Is basically the Divers den of LFS around here. You name it(fish/coral) they can get it. They most recently sold like 4 wrought iron butterfly fish to once customer. for round 8 grand so they can get rare pieces. They do a lot of shipping to the US they have a ton of high end customers out there so i know they ship. Get in Contact with them and see if they can set something up for you.

Its Salt water Connection... not just skimmers. but they are known for their skimmers.

I have 1.....now I thought they made their own skimmers but I found out my skimmer is a reef octopus vortex 300 that runs the reef octopus pump, but the collection cup lid was swapped with one SWC made to fit that has SWC on the lid instead of the Reef octo one, so they basically are knock offs or re-branded skimmers sold as SWC and marked up.. even the new cone skimmers are knockoffs of some other skimmer.

I can show you guys a picture of this "awesome" SWC skimmer (pardon my sarcasm) that is actually a reef octopus.. Not sure if that's legal either, thats like taking a Rolex watch and switching the name Rolex out for something else and marking it up as your own product.

Not to hijack the thread, but World Wide Corals has shipped a lot of stuff to me via the airlines where I pick it up at the airport. Is that an option?

Thank You for posting this. I was/still am in the market for a new skimmer and I was considering a SWC skimmer. I was wondering why they looked so close to a Reef Octopus. Now I know.
