    Nitrates are now undetectable and ph is still a little high. About 8.8

    Ok heres my last update on this mess. The sweetlips died:( But at least I began my journey into understanding chemistry. My water parameters are on there way to stable now.

    temp: 79
    Salinity: 1.022
    Carbonate hardness: 12dKH
    PH: 8.4
    Phosfate: 2 still high but waiting a couple of days before taking steps to remove it.
    Calcium: 480
    Ammonia: 0
    Nitrite: 0
    Nitrate: 0

    Im going to step back my dosing to about half of what is reccomended on all things I cant test for. Im looking for a test kit for iodine so I can tell how much needs to be dosed.

    Thank you everyone for getting me started understanding water chem and for helping through a rough day that I should of known was coming.
