How do you dose Calcium??

    But, what else is in the Purple Up that you do not have test kits for and are not testing for?
    Keep it simple. Never ever add anything whatsoever to your tank that you first do not have a test kit for and second are not testing for on a regular basis to know for sure it is in fact depleted and really necessary. If it has sub ingredients you better darn well have test kits for those ingredients no matter how minor and be using them.

    It is so easy to get a system out of whack by adding supplements and additives and so very hard to get it back in balance. Kent, Seachem, and a dozen others are guilty of this and should be shamed. If you don't test for it and need it don't put it in there, its really as simple as that.

    I dose Kent Calcium manually....about 3tsp per week.....same with Mg...but that I dose 12tsp per week.

    I test calcium, mg, iodine, ph, dkh, nitrates, silca, and phos.

    Daily ph and dkh
    about 3 days calicum, iodine,
    weekly nitrates
    monthly silica, phos

    This is all that is stable calcium 420, mag 1350, dkh 8, silica 0, and phos 0
    This is low ph 7.8,
    These dont show on test or even close to what is required iodine,
