I just got a new 10 gallon tank. I pulled rock sand and water from my big tank. My params are:
    Nitrite-0
    nitrate-0
    ammonia-0
    calcium-425
    Ph-8.3
I have a yellow tail damsel in there right now, and its doing great. It has been up for about 1 week. I have all sorts of macro algeas in it. It is going to be a seahorse tank. Am i safe to get 1 today?

Definitely not if you have a damsel in the tank.

I would wait a little while longer before adding anymore animals. Damsels are not good tankmates for seahorses, just so you know. Also, if the tank is going to be for seahorses, I'm not sure that adding any other fish to such a small tank is a good idea.

Seahorses are delicate creatures. Try your best to get a tank bred specimen that eats prepared foods. Also, with the tank only being 10 gallons I would stick with a small group of H. zosterae. - Seahorse Source - Hippocampus zosterae

Why not just let it run until you can get what you want? If y ou sell it off now, you will kick yourself if you come back 6 months from now needing to buy everything again.

Why? Just wait a few more weeks, then you can add a seahorse.
