Atm i have a wet/dry filter setup with a skimmer in it...its about 15-20 gallons. For a 55 gallon. Is it possible to run a pump from my wet/dry filter to another filter..for example a refugium..then have it pump out from thier into my tank?...have u heard of this type of setup?...is it possible? thanx

entirely possible! i wouldn't run a pump from your sump to the fuge though..you dont want a pump for incoming and outgoing water because SOMETHING will flood eventually..if you can..the best thing would be to drill your sump and have the water just drain out to the fuge

or have a U tube going from one to the other if they are right next to each other.

That is still a potential flood risk.
I am with irr, he hit it right on the head. Have the fuge slightly higher than your wet/dry. Simply drill the fuge, then run a drain pipe from the fuge to the wet/dry. You would not have to change any of your return that way. Just T-off of your tanks overflow to divert some to the fuge. Pretty much the exact way I have mine set up, and it works really well.

i have a hang on overflow...so what your saying is to put a T fitting before the wet/dry so i can have flow going to both tanks, then drill my fuge to have it drain into my wet/dry and have the pump from thier bring it back up. Sounds cool and easy to do...i was thinking i need another pump. But this sounds interesting. i will work on it this morning, i will have video up of it done

thanx alot guys for the info.

Exactly! No change in flow at all really, so no need to buy another/different pump or overflow. All you are really doing is diverting some of the water on its way down. Now, you may have to put a ball valve after the T fitting on the overflow section to get some back pressure in order for it to flow to the fuge as well.
