Car Crash :(

The day before my 17th birthday(august 7th), I was blessed enough to recieve a 2012 Volkswagen Jetta, to be my first car. Last friday I was involved in an accident on my way to school, I was at a stop and got rear ended at 45 mph by another student who was texting. I was lucky to escape with a mild concussion and some muscle spasms in my back. the car on the other hand, was declared totaled . Just a friendly reminder, Please dont text and drive.

 

i wish i could reach into other cars and smack ppl when i see them txting and driving i mean is it that important that you would risk your life i through me cellphone in the glove compartment so i cant do it lol

 

Wow that sucks! I got hit in a similar way when I was 18. Don't settle quickly make sure you are fully healed.

 

When you were 18 they used smoke signals inside cars?

Hope your injuries heal quickly. Hate to hear that your car is totalled. Did you have gap insurance on it?

 

I'm a little disappointed in you guys, this is a serious situation and you can't keep it together long enough to have real concern for reef3r. Good thing it wasn't a Volkswagen Rabbit or there would be Elmer Fudd jokes.

In all seriousness I hope they quote you a good price for replacement. I had physical therapy for six months, and then and bout a few months later. I thought I was ok at the time just some muscle spams and it took about 6 year for my back to be 100%

 

Oh i forget alot of you might not know who he is.

 

Man that sucks, I hope your insurance covers your new car well enough. My brother had a head on collision, broke his femur and had 4 major surgeries and was on crutches and wheelchairs for 3 years. I have been seeing a large influx of people texting, but only in cities for whatever reason. We only drive Volvos because they are safe, shame they are so feminine I mean really when I drive my moms XC90 it has child booster seats!?!!? and that will probably be my car in a year or two. I'm not sure If i want to drive that in college, I'm not complaining it's a nice car, but it's a soccer mom car regardless...maybe I can trade it in for a BRZ.....

well in all seriousness i hope everything is ok but i guess the next car should be a Armored Vehicle Products - Bullet Proof Tactical and SWAT Trucks
like to see someone rear end that

 

i wonder how much they charge to armor your vehicle.....
