I would love to see a picture of your tank. That is one big tank! that is also a serious water change schedule.....I would think you would want to have your system be able to handle less frequent, less volume of water changes....

The big water changes are just an attempt to bring down the phos/nitrate, I was normally doing a 10% water change.

    As requested, photos!;D

That looks great. I'd recommend running phosban aggressively and then using GFO to keep them in check. How do you feed? Do you use frozen? If so do you just drop the cube in there?

Thanks!;D, I thought GFO and phosban are the same thing? I'm still waiting on the reactor to arrive so for now I have been using something I got at a local LFS called Foz down which has really done the trick.

I like to target feed the corals I can, as for everything else frozen brine/krill/cyclopeze, used to have cubes but now I get the blocks of frozen foods and shave it into a bowl with some water from the tank to thaw out.

It has the same objective however phosban will more aggressively strip the water of the phosphates. I'd recommend you place the frozen food in a net that is in a cup of your tank water. Once thawed throw away the water, get some fresh tank water, then dump the net in there and use whatever you use to spot feed. I just recently started doing that and the water I throw out is super cloudy and dirty. I bet it's loaded with phosphates aswell.

+1 that is a solid tip!. My water does get pretty cloudy when I dump all the food in. :p
