Carbonate Hardness Vs. Alkalinity

    Is carbonate hardness and alkalinity the same thing? From what Iv read online sounds like they are. Just wanted to double check before I assume that.

    Yep, same thing. Carbonate hardness is the measurement of alkalinity.

    Ah guess Ill go with my carbonate hardness test. It seems more reliable and much much easier to perform.
