I got a Carpenter Flasher Wrasse and a Flame Hawk 2 weeks ago. I also have a Bi-Color Blenny and a Oscellaris Clownfish in my 46 reef tank. All Paramaters are good. The Wrasse has been hiding now for 2 days. But before this he was swimming for about a week in the open. He came out when I put food in but I did not see him eat much at all. I even put 2 drops of garlic extreme from Seachem in the food. He looks good and is not being picked on from the other fish. The LFS said it could be a parasite. Anyone else here have a similar problem with a wrasse?

It could just take time to adjust. My CB took a about 7-8 days before he started to eat regularly, but it's not uncommon for a fish to take this along, especially wrasses b/c they are so shy, at least in the beginning. I would just try a variety of foods and try some fresh seafood to entice him to eat.

+1 I wouldnt reall y worry right now, if hes eating some then, he just might be shy and not fully acclimated to your tank.

As long as he continues to eat, I wouldnt worry too much.

Do you see anything on him that you would make you think some sort of disease, If you see marking, get him into qt. Do you see anyone bullying him?

I've not had good luck with flasher wrasses. I've had two. The first jumped which was my fault. The second seemed to be doing alright, although my clowns harassed him. He did get more comfortable and was eating, but was still very skittish. One day, after only having him for about two weeks I found him dead for no apparent reason. I don't know what happened. I do wish you luck with him.
