Been looking at the above fish and wanted you to share your experiences. I have a 72g bowfront with 3 cardinals, one royal gramma, one orange spotted sand gobby, one yellow tail blue tang and a percula. I've had a bit of a battle with ich but the only concern was the blue tang which pulled through with twice daily feedings. I know it's still in the tank so I'm trying to stay away from any angel/tang type fish because I know they are more likely to get it on a recurring basis. So, what do you guys think of this fish?

Love the coloration of the fish but I believe its a possible jumper so be prepared to screen in the top if you decide to get it.

I never thought about egg crate.I think BRS sells a kit with fine mesh that blocks very little light.
Doesn't that affect your lighting? It looks nice and really clean.

no ill effects. everyone in the tank is doing just fine but cutting it was a pain in the arse so take your time.

That would be a fine addition to your tank.

I will caution however, the holes in the eggcrate are too large, unless you're getting a large specimen. Unless it's a full grown flasher, he'll go right though that. You need 1/4" mesh.

The only other consideration is he will need to be feed about 3 times/day. If feeding that often makes you uncomfortable, I wouldn't consider a wrasse.

Thanks. I feed twice a day so I'm guessing that's not enough?

You should be able to get by on twice per day, especially if it's an established tank with a refugium.
