Carpet nems.

Hello all, I have two pretty large carpet nems one is about 6-7 inches across and the other is about 9-10 inches across (depending on how they feel that day lol) and I was wondering if any one knows what large nems like this would go for as far as price. I have been thinking about selling my larger one...mostley because he moves around alot and I dont think my tank is big enough for him anymore lol I will try to post this pics ASAP!

It depends more on coloration than size. A large brown nem isn't going to get much. But vibrant reds that are 10" across can go for up to $350+

 

Thats what I have been hearing.....There a very light green that looks great under actinics. The fish gallery in Dallas has one that is waaaay smaller then mine for 190!!! and the color looks almost washed out out. Guess it couldn't hurt to try and trade for some more gear lol

 

Most stores are out line on stuff like that... Get us a pic though. Green ones are usually nice. I would imagine you could get between $100-200 for it. And more in trades from local boards.

I would hit up the local boards and try to do a trade, you'll probably get the best bang for the buck that way. I would give you quite a few sps frags that would price out at an lfs in the $250+ range real easy if you were local here. I'm actually interested in a large green or red carpet nem. Where are you located?
