Ive returned many items to stores without a receipt. If you used your credit card they could pull up the transaction or usually do a search for the purchaseif you lost the receipt. If you didnt buy these yourself and are trying to return them, You are outta luck. Your best bet is to put em on craigslist or ebay or somewhere and hope for at least 2/3rds of the value.

First of all, skull candys kick @$$. Second, I return unopend fish stuff to petco all the time without a reciept. Most stores give you in store credit.

Depending on where they were bought, you are most likely out of luck. Most places are going to give you in store credit so the money stays in the store. Even if they were bought with a credit card, they would just put the money back on the credit card whereas with a debit card you would cash back. Good luck to you. Maybe like mentioned about, craigslist or ebay.

Sorry to hear about our problem. Like said above, you will have a difficult time getting money back without proof of purchase...even if they are unopened.

Reselling them would be a good idea. Just make sure your gift-giver doesn't see their headphones up for sale on Facebook. lol. :p

did somebody buy them for you? if so they probably cant get you cash your best bet would be just selling on ebay or craigslist.

i got a nice pair of skull crushers for x-mas and they sound amazing, better than any pair of beat headphones my bother has.

If peeps could get cash back for expensive electronics at Best Buy without a receipt.... don't you think that's where the thieves would go instead of selling it for 10% of it's worth at a pawn shop or to the friend of a friend of a friend on the street!

I was reading a newspaper article yesterday about how strict returns have become, especially this season. They are expecting record returns and have protected themselves against huge losses. I think they were saying Amazon.com just went from 1 'rule" to 8. I haven't looked personally.... just what I read.
